Daniel DeLuna is a Rochester, NY-based artist blending digital and analog techniques to create abstract paintings. Using Adobe Illustrator and Cinema 4D, he generates hundreds of geometric designs through controlled randomness, selecting a few to transform into physical works using stencils cut with a precision die-cut machine.

Drawing on his background in painting, animation, and electronic music, DeLuna’s work explores rhythm, texture, and fractured structures, evoking the passage of time. His art highlights the interplay between smooth, geometric precision and layered, tactile paint.

As an Associate Professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology’s School of Design, DeLuna merges his expertise in technology and traditional craft to create works that challenge the boundaries of contemporary art.
